Our clients vary based on:
Structure
We work with 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and fiscally sponsored groups operating a charitable mission. We sometimes work with foundations, government agencies, 501(c)(4) or 501(c)(6) organizations, depending on the circumstances. We do not work with for-profit companies who are seeking to raise start-up or growth funds. For support with this type of fundraising, in the Seattle area, we recommend you contact Ventures, and in other areas of the country, check the SBA or SCORE websites.
Location
We work with organizations based anywhere in the United States. We have worked with clients in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Hawaii, Alaska, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, New Jersey, and more. We primarily work via Zoom and other video conferencing tools. In some cases, we may agree to travel for in-person events or meetings.
Mission
We work with nonprofit organizations working on a wide range of causes, including economic development, health, arts, education, basic needs, and more. Cloudbreak does not work with partisan organizations; organizations working to promote hate, injustice, or intolerance in any way; organizations with religious missions; or organizations with missions that oppose gender or racial equity.
Size
We work with small volunteer-run organizations, large organizations with fund development teams, and everything in between. We can come alongside new or inexperienced organizations to build your initial fundraising capacity from the ground up or we can support more established organizations in addressing specific needs, gaps, or projects.
